This road would have appeared busy in 1988 as pictured. What great joy of traffic chaos we were going to come to see as normal, huh.
Blogger has chosen to give this picture a bit of a blue cast, not sure why, unless it recognises that it was taken under the blue rinse era of Thatcher and is some peculiar homage.
