It's a cup, featuring a person with a bent sword.
Bent sword person, sort it out.
But the bent sword person is not able to sort it out, being only a two dimensional image.
The bent sword person can't even tell if the cup is half full or half empty.
If they were sentient they would be unaware of there being a container due to their dimensional restriction.
The entire world, galaxy, universe as a plane, a two-dimensional infinite surface.
Which in the current climate may be the more preferential position, one of ignorance.
