Day 444, Horloge digitale


All the fours, it's nearly quarter to five.

House!

Oh no, hang on.

It's actually 19:00, yes it says 20:00 there but the clock hasn't been reset for the 'fall back' part of the time change.

A manual radio, in the DAB age.

It uses a Phase Locked Loop (PLL) and proudly announces this on the front.

Not on the still attached stick on feature label, but actually screen printed onto the radio itself.

PLL would be meaningless to most would be purchasers

And why this should be such selling point is mysterious given that pretty much any modern FM radio uses PLL for demodulation.

Perhaps they're just using fancy language in the hope of impressing the gullible.

It worked on me.
