The road where Joe Cocker, Jarvis Cocker's uncle, used to live in Crookes.
And on the right is where the Dougal and Ermintrude from the Magic Roundabout briefly were in residence during the early 1970s.
This was the time when tabloid journalists were chasing them due to the 'love rat' period and they came here in hiding in the manner of John and Yoko.
Another coincidence is that Ermintrude was distantly related to both JC's.
Norman Cocker, the well known organist and composer, was also born here, about five houses down.
Unlikely as it may seem Norman was also a relation of Dougal.
Most of these houses appear to have decent heating, many with wood burning fires.
If any of those people still extant had left their houses today, and still lived here in their toasty houses, they would have got quite wet.
