The original cube, bought in 1980 or 1981.
I only succeeded doing the cube by buying a book with sorting patterns in it - we have the internet for that sort of thing now.
This one is sadly lacking one colour worth of stickers. It turned out my one of my family members couldn't do the cube either. They used the 'peel and move' method, unfortunately some of the stickers were moved to somewhere completely outside of the three dimensions of this cube.
Now here we are 35 years after the Cube was 'toy of the year' we don't even need the physical object. As well as solving websites there are also plenty of websites where you can unmixify a cube online.
Maybe we can save the world by using the power of the internet to provide simulations of other more pressing problems.
